WHO WE TREAT

You do NOT have to have a doctor referral, prescription nor a diagnosis. We treat almost anyone; however, we do have a right to refuse treatment to anyone at anytime for any reason. If we feel there might be a practitioner that may suit your needs better or if we are uncomfortable for any reason, we may refer you out or deny treatment. We consider this best practice to ensure the most positive outcome for everyone.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

If you are new, haven’t been seen with us for over 1 year or have a new issue that you want to address, we expect you to schedule the New Client 1st Time session.

We expect you to be open to new ways in approaching your well-being that you may have never tried before.

We expect you to be on time for your sessions, have your intake paperwork filled out prior to your first appointment and bring along any supporting papers that will be required for your session. If there are additional factors that change during your time with us, we expect you to update us.

If you are under a physicians care, we expect that you will have the Doctor Referral Form filled out before you come to see us. If you show up without this, your session may be cancelled and you will still be charged for the full amount. You can find the form here or listed below.

We expect you to be honest with us about the state of your health so we can find the best solutions that will help you get to the place you’d rather be. Whether your goal is physical, mental or lifestyle, we will work with you. If we feel that we are not best suited for you or you need additional professional assistance, we will refer you out.

We are Not a substitute for medical care and expect that you see your doctor for major concerns.

COST/PAYMENT/INSURANCE BILLING

Payment is due in full at the time of session. Each session cost will vary depending on the services provided and on an individual basis. If we are billing your insurance or providing any type medical paperwork verifying treatments we will expect a deposit of at least 45-55% of the cost of treatment at time of service. When your insurance processes in full, we will refund your deposit.

Please note that even if you are pre-approved for coverage, your insurance may still deny the charges. In this case we will do our best to appeal your case. If they still do not cover than you will be required to pay in full.

We do require a valid credit card on file. In the event that your insurance does not cover the session in full, we will charge the credit card on file accordingly. If due to financial hardship, you are unable to pay the bill in full, we will do our best to work with you on a sliding scale. This is at our discretion and documentation may be required.

WHAT IF I WANT TO COME IN WITHOUT A DOCTOR REFERRAL? OR, WHAT IF MY INSURANCE DOESN’T COVER SERVICES?

You can still come in to see us! We offer a private pay option for those that do not have a prescription or would like services unrelated to a medical diagnosis. Those rates will still be determined based on session type or item when you come in.

Do you offer a Flat Rate for any services?

Yes. We offer a lowered flat rate for your first time session. We also still currently offer a flat rate on Hot Stone Therapy, Raindrop Technique, Reiki Energy Healing and Skincare Services. Our Skincare Consults are also still a Free service.

For regular Massage and Bodywork Services we no longer offer a flat rate at this time. We follow medical billing procedures whether we are actively billing an insurance plan or not. We can give you a private pay estimate however please note that it may be changed based on your actual needs during your session. Am I required to tip?

Please know that you are never required to tip. If we are billing your Insurance, Auto Policy or Workers Compensation, you absolutely do not tip these services. If you are doing a Medical Massage or Bodywork session or are doing a series of massage and bodywork to help with a plan that you have with your therapist, even in a private pay situation, you do not have to tip. We would rather have you continue to use your personal wellness funds to continue coming to appointments to maintain your health. We do Not consider massage and bodywork to be a luxury or spa service; We feel it is necessary to overall health and hope that you adopt these beliefs as you see what our sessions can do for you.

WHAT IF I HAVE A GIFT CERTIFICATE?

If you have a regular gift card/certificate from Posh Relief, LLC. with a dollar amount listed, we will apply it to your balance. These gift cards do not expire.

If you have a discounted gift certificate or specialty gift card for a specific service that may have been discounted for a holiday or other event, please read the print listed. These services have an expiration date. Often the full service expires but we will still honor the price paid unless there is a hard expiration with no exceptions.

You MUST have your gift certificate at the time of service.

WHAT IF I LOST MY GIFT CERTIFICATE? Can I still schedule?

Each gift certificate has a unique checkout code. Again, you Must have your gift certificate to present at the time of service. We are not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates. If you cannot find your gift card, we will not be able “look up” your card number. You will need to pay with credit card, check or cash. We apologize for any inconvenience but cannot make exceptions for this. Please treat your gift card like money and for best practice, schedule as soon as you get it.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Because we spend the majority of our day in session, we kindly ask that you do your best to schedule ONLINE. If you are in doubt as to what to schedule, please choose a New Client, 1st Time appointment even if we have seen you before. This allots us a time slot to have a discussion when you arrive. We will figure out and adjust the cost accordingly after your session.
