ABOUT the bodyworker and practice

“Specializing in Healing Energy and Bodywork, my goal is to help you feel better inside and out. With my education, background experience, both in this field and my personal life, along with my never-ending love of continuing education to learn more about the functional, holistic human being, I will be an excellent tool to utilize on your wellness journey. “

Welcome! My name is Hollie Bahr.

I am a Bodyworker and have been practicing since 2004. That’s 19+ years!

I recently finished a full semester series on updated Clinical Assessment with musculoskeletal structure and movement, Functional Holistic Nutrition, and Wellness Coaching and am currently working on my Holistic Nursing Board Certification in Healing Touch Energy Medicine.

Experience, Perspective, Training, and Continuous Education are what I bring to your session.

I have a background and training in Medical Massage and a focused degree in Clinical Sports Massage Therapy from St. Paul College in Minnesota that includes but is not limited to, Neuromuscular Assessment and Treatment, Functional Holistic Nutrition, Wellness Coaching and Development, and numerous modalities like Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Medicupping, Myofascial work, Pregnancy Massage, Relaxation, Stone and Bamboo Therapies, and even Basic Skin and Spa treatments!

I also hold certificates and maintain continuing education in Advanced Energy Healing Techniques like Reiki and Healing Touch.

I am a Master Level Reiki practitioner and began my training with this approach at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I am also a Healing Touch Level 4 practitioner and am currently in process of obtaining my board certification from the Holistic Nursing Association.

I completed my first clinical internship with Regions Hospital, in St. Paul, MN (A level 1 trauma center) in Oncology, Neo-Natal Wing, and Burn Unit. I completed a second internship at The Courage Kelly Rehabilitation Institute of Golden Valley, MN working with people who have permanent paralysis, physical disabilities and brain injuries.

I have also worked with professional athletes from the Minneapolis Tri Athletes Club as well as one of our U.S. Olympic Cycling teams during their Grand Prix Tour in Minneapolis, MN in 2004.

My 19 years of experience and training in the wellness field, as well as my own personal journey with health, continue to verify how important it is to have a good mind/body connection.

My personal family history of autoimmune disorders, including cancer, has brought another perspective into my view on how chronic stress and stagnant energy can cause extreme damage to our physical and mental bodies. By balancing the chemical and cellular state of our bodies, we can help ourselves heal.

Whatever your daily life looks like, I would be honored to help make it better.

With much care,

Hollie Bahr
